Mike Yurick has worked as a software developer in the VFX and AAA Game industries for over 10 years. His focus is on building tools that make artistic workflows easier and more efficient. Most recently, his interest in Machine Learning has encouraged him to explore how this emerging technology can be leveraged to aid in the creative process. He is currently a member of the La Forge research group at Ubisoft Montreal. He earned his MSc in Computer Science from the University of British Columbia and his BSc from Queen’s university.
