Nikunj Raghuvanshi
Nikunj is a Principal Researcher at Microsoft Research HQ in Redmond working at the intersection of computational physics, computer graphics, and spatial audio with applications in games and AR/VR. Over the last decade he has led project Triton from research to commercial adoption, enabling physics-based wave propagation effects employed in many game experiences today such as Gears of War & Borderlands. Nikunj has published and given talks across graphics, games, and audio communities. He did his PhD studies at UNC Chapel Hill, where his work initiated sound as a research direction, with thesis code acquired by Microsoft.
