Realistic Dynamic Projection Mapping Using Real-time Ray Tracing

DescriptionThis paper proposes the dynamic projection mapping using path tracing. Path-tracing rendering requires significant time, but dynamic projection mapping requires high-frame-rate rendering, e.g. 500-1,000 fps. To overcome this, our method leverages persistence of vision. The reproduced image can be consistent with physical motion at low latency and be highly realistic.
